The music is tremendious!
Do You Hear The People Sing is very inspirational . A song for a battle. On that hopes for change, for a better life... sad it is never seen by those who were singing it in the production.
But I loved them all. Last evening I did see opening night on the tour in Rhode Island and loved the voise of Randal Keith , a vocal inspiration! I will try to see him , and the rest of the cast before there stay here ends.
Sincerely,
Joyce
ps: love your sight
Sincerely,

Okay well I was unable to post on the School Edition site but I just wanted to correct some people that thought 'On my Own' wasn't in it and I bunch of other things so here's basically a synopsis of the school show...

Hey actually I'm performing the school edition- I'm Eponine and we open on Wednesday but anyway I was just letting you know that On my Own was NOT cut, it is in the scene called "Building the Barricade." The scenes are not by song title for the most part- A Little Fall of Rain is in "Javert at the Barricade," and In my Life and A Heart Full of Love are in "Rue Plumet." All of the major songs are included except 'Confrontation' (between Valjean and Javert) and 'Dog Eat Dog' (Thenardier) but you wouldn't even know that if you haven't seen the Broadway show 80 times or have the CD. The show is very, very similar- no full songs are cut, there are just verses taken out (Castle on a Cloud is one verse, Stars has a verse removed, and so does A Little Fall of Rain-) But they are all easy to put back in if you want to because all you have to do is repeat verses. Anyway it's a difficult show to put together but it has been a lot of fun and I'm really excited. I'd recomend doing it and if you want some pictures of our set or anything, just e-mail me and I'll try my best! "To love another person is to see the face of God."

I realize the fact that I've written a whole lot, for crying out loud my last comment takes up alomost the whole page. But I just can't write about how much I LOVE Les Mis once. I have to keep coming back. My favoite guy charecter is Gavouche, followed by Javert, then Enjorlas. Favorite Female charecter defenatly is Eponine, then Madame Thenardier. Sue me if I spell names wrong, our little lives don't count at all. In other words, its pointless. Oh yea. The main reason I loved being in Les Mis, is because I was surronded by really hot guys. The guys who played Valjean, Javert, the foreman, all hot. Then there are the Techies. One is HOT, the other is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. The girls were really disapointed, during the beggers scene, because Thenardier was supposed to rip Valjeans shirt to reveal the 24601 tattoo. It diddn"t happen. The man is hot , I'll give him credit.
Love from Hannah (I'll go dream know)

I guess you could say that I have NEVER seen Les Mis and Technally that would be true. But on August 10th and 11th of 2002, I was a cast member in the Southern Illinois Sixth annual all high production of Les Mis. Not to mention there were some middle school kids in it also. I mean we needed them for Little Cosett, and little Eponine, and not to mention adorable Gavroche. After proving not only to our selves and to the thousands of pepole who came to see us,that we are some of the most talted young men and women in the country (not to brag, I apolagize) we also learned that friendship can come from the most unlikey pepole. I have met some of the sweetest pepole during the two months we worked our tails off, because they gave me love in return. This summer although I had only four days off because of reherasals, was one of the happiest of my life. I have some true friends and for maybe the first time in 15 years, I felt like I belonged. Deicated to the 30-40 some odd memmebers all between the ages of 10 and 18 love, peace and happiness be yours.

You know what, I apprciate the fact that there are peple out there that love Les Mis as much as I do. I find it funny, that after the final permence I felt terrible. Not depressed just, sulky. Acting fever is something that is really hard if not impossable to cure. The one thing that really p***** me off, was the fact that Eponine is completly and hopelessly in love with Marius, who just happens to be her best friend, and he's completly oblivious to it. Instead he the poor bastard falls in love with some girl (Cosett) he bumps into on the street. Eponine risks her life by going to the barriacade, takes the letter to Cosette, gets shot when she comes back. Not to mention she also stood up to her own FATHER and prevented him and his gang from robbing Jean Valjaen. Cosette doesn't do anything except stand there and look pretty. Yes as a matter of fact Eponine is my favorite character. So much so it's my name in my French Class. Again if anybody from the cast reads this, I apoligize. Oh yea, If Cosette your reading this, (you know who you are, I won't revile your real name over the internet) I love you, just really, really hate your charecter.

Okay I admit I'm taking up alot of room but this is going to be short, I PROMISE! Don't worry. Great job on the site Faith, WAY TO GO. I'd be happy to ask any questions and appricate any comments you might have. I'll try to respond as quick as possible. Oops. Looks like this is just as long and as boring as my other two. Sorry, now wake up, and write a rsponse. Next time I'll try to be a liitle humorus. P.S. My faviote, song just don't ask me why is Empty Chairs at Empty Tables. I think it's really pretty, yet sad. Thank You for being patient while I drone on. Thank you so much.

Your loving friend,Hannah

Hmm. I like the site a lot, and I like the show a lot. I especially enjoy Gary Morris from the Symphonic Recording, despite popular opinion. He's very good. Better than Colm who can't sing the songs as they're written, but rather starts every line incredibly early and staggers the words out.

Hai,
great and informatic site! I'll come back soon really! I have a question: is it logic that the first understudy of Fantine plays the part of Factory Girl too?

Whatever, my website is about someone who has also played Fantine and Factory Girl in Belgium...

I like Les Mis and i want to see it once again! I only saw it in Belgium...

Greetings and good luck!
