Broadway Les Mis: Never seen
Les Mis in general: 1-3 times since 2004

Even though I saw Les Miz over two months ago, I still feel as if I'm just leaving the theater. When I was around three (that would be around 1995), I went through a brief Broadway binge (my older sisters [then 13 and 16] were all over it). I then lost interest until late 2003, when my sister found out that the NT was coming to New Haven. She convinced my parents to buy tickets and then proceeded to lecture me on the fine points of Les Miz, lent me her Original London Cast Recording (which I still haven't given back. Mean me. I don't think she cares.), gave me lesmis.com, and left me "on my own, pretending..." (sorry. Yes, I'm strange). I actually saw LM on April 7, 2004 at 7:30. I LOVED IT!!! I knew I would. I saw Randal Keith as Valjean (sounded like Colm Wilkinson), Stephen Tewksbury as Javert (what made his performance seem even better was that he's a Red Sox fan like me! He was great anyway.), Tonya Dixon as Fantine, Christopher Mark Peterson as Enjolras, Josh Young as Marius, Amanda Huddleston as Cosette, Ma-Anne Dionisio as Eponine, David McDonald and Cindy Benson as the Thenardiers (they were HILARIOUS), Erika Kiyomi Johnson as Young Eponine (Young Eponine should have some lines because she'd be great. Very spoiled-bratish, just as Young Eponine should be), Nadine Jacobson as Young Cosette (not very good), and Justen Steinagle's little brother Branden as Gavroche (he sounded too trained with not enough emotion). So now I want to be in Les Mis EVEN MORE THAN I DID BEFORE!!!!!!!
Cheers, Marion

Les Mis in general: Never seen

I have never seen Les Miserables, I came accross this website when I was messing around putting my name into a search engine to see what would come up. My name is also Gary Lynch. It's fascinating to see all the different people whose name I share on the internet.

I was in Les Miserables School Edition in East Peoria and It was the best time of my life. I met my first love there, made about 50 new friends, and have memories that will last me a lifetime.

I first saw Les Mis in New York City on Broadway and it was wonderful, but last nights production was magical. Maybe the first time I saw it I wasn't into it because I was a teenager but now as an adult I can understand the struggles the characters went through. I have an entirely new appreciation for the musical and the perfomers. Before the show was even over I was brought to tears. It was absolutley beautiful. Everything from the props to the sets was just absolutely intriguing. I don't think I have ever been captivated like I was last night. Thank you so much to all the performers for putting there hearts into this show. I loved it!

Great Site! I am a total Les Miz fan. My friend turned me onto it when I was in sixth grade. I did a project on it in music class and loved it even more! I listen to the music daily and have watched the aniversery edition a billion times. Ive never been lucky enough to see it on Brodway Boo hoo! I wasn't aware that it had closed, I don't know how I will ever survive. Guess I will have to go to london, LOL. Anyway, Les Miz is the best musicial ever made. IT is gone but definetly not forgotten!!

I unfortunately have not had the honor of seeing this production live. I was introduced to Les Mes by a friend who loane me the 10th anniversary movie edition which takes place in the Royal Albert Hall. I fell in love with it immediately. And someday, hopefully soon, I'll get to appreciate seeing it live on stage. And just as a side note, it would be a really good idea to put pieces of some of the more famous songs on this link...just little bits. I'd like to hear some of the Broadway performers in comparison to the "Dreamcast".
